Data One Broadband Statistics
About
BSNL provides a broadband
Internet service called
"Data One"
which comes with upload/download limits. Coincidentally, an
easy-to-use browser-based solution to check monthly usage is not
provided. Instead, usage records for each month are available.
Previously, no browser other than Internet Explorer (IE) was
allowed to access the records. Presently, they do allow Firefox
to access the page. So, all this script saves you from is adding
up the last column (the billed usage part).

Download
The script is freely downloadable from here. It is hosted on SourceForge. Here's the FAQ.
Windows users would want to download the file with the name
starting with "dataone_win". Linux (or Unix) users probably want
the other file.
The mailing list!
If you want a mail to be sent to you when a new version is
released, go to the
announcement list and enter your email address there.
Alternatively, if you have a SourceForge account, you can click on the envelope next to the package in the download page and monitor it.

Note: I still do not know what I was thinking when I chose the
name, "dobs" for this script. But, this mistake is going to
stick. It's not possible to change the name (easily).
